The Linz Europe Tour 2007 – 2009 leads the exceptional Austrian musician Hubert von Goisern as ambassador of Linz 2009 European Capital of Culture by ship on a concert tour, which extends in two stages along the rivers of Europe from the Black Sea to the North Sea. The ship, converted into a floating concert stage, will be the harbinger of Linz 2009 European Capital of Culture.
Hubert von Goisern’s extraordinary concert tour is to be accompanied by a comprehensive programme of side events and promotion measures for the Capital of Culture. Project presentations and press events have been prepared for Linz, Vienna, Obermühl, Deggendorf, Munich, Nuremberg, Stuttgart, Offenbach, Mainz, Ulm, Cologne and Düsseldorf as part of the tour, thus preparing the international media for Linz 2009 European Capital of Culture.
